The Q8 presentation switcher is a formidable force in real-time 4K and 8K video processing, equipped with up to 72x 4K input and 48x 4K output connectors. It supports 48x 4K concurrent inputs and 16x 4K concurrent outputs, with capabilities for 32x 4K mixing layers in switcher mode or 64x 4K single layers in PGM only mode. Featuring a VPU-based architecture that allows for a doubled quantity of layers per output card, the Q8 also enables long-distance signal transmission up to 10 km using single-mode optical fiber, reducing costs and ensuring signal stability for live events.
